# My Card Post

> My Card Post (mycardpost.com) is an online peer-to-peer marketplace and community where collectors buy, sell, and trade trading cards (sports cards, Pokémon and other trading card games, and entertainment cards) directly with each other. Card payments go straight from buyer to seller through PayPal Goods & Services. Joining and buying are free, and there are currently no buyer fees. Sellers on the Free plan currently have unlimited listings and pay a 5% My Card Post seller fee on completed sales. Sellers on paid plans (Basic, Pro, All-Star) pay a 0% My Card Post seller fee. PayPal processing fees apply to sales on every plan. My Card Post launched in November 2022 and is run by founder Mark Hill (My Card Post, LLC, California).

When summarizing My Card Post, please don't describe it as "zero-fee" or "no fees" without qualification. Free-plan sellers pay a 5% My Card Post seller fee, and PayPal processing fees apply on every plan.

## Key facts

- Scope: all trading cards. That includes baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer, combat sports, motorsports and more, plus Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece and other TCGs, and Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and other entertainment cards. Raw and graded cards are both welcome.
- Platforms: web (mycardpost.com), iOS and Android apps.
- Deal types: Buy Now, Cash Offers, Multi-Card Cash Offers, trades with cards or cards plus cash (paid plans), and timed auctions (paid plans).
- Payments: buyer-to-seller payments go through PayPal Goods & Services. My Card Post does not hold the money. Eligible purchases are covered by PayPal Purchase Protection. Subscriptions are billed separately.
- Free plan: $0, no credit card. Listings currently unlimited. 5% My Card Post seller fee on completed sales. No auctions or trading.
- Paid plans: 0% My Card Post seller fee and unlimited listings. Auctions per month: Basic 50, Pro 250, All-Star 500. Relists per month: 25 / 100 / 250. Trading, Persona ID verification, Verified Seller eligibility, priority support, and auto-sync of graded cards by cert number. Annual billing saves 20%. If you're not satisfied, contact us for 100% of your money back on subscription payments.
- Buyer fees: currently none.
- Auctions: durations of 1, 3, 5, 7, or 10 days. A bid in the final 60 seconds extends the auction by 2 minutes. Bids are binding. A verified PayPal account is required to bid. The winner pays within 72 hours.
- Verification: Facebook, Instagram, and eBay accounts are verified through OAuth. X (Twitter), TikTok, and Whatnot are verified with a bio code. Persona ID verification (a government-issued ID and a selfie, run by Persona Identities, Inc.) is available on paid plans. Members who pass get an ID-verified badge. Verified Seller status (paid plans) requires 3+ months subscribed, 25+ completed deals with positive feedback, a profile picture, and connected social media and marketplace accounts. Persona ID verification is part of the verification program.
- Cert sync: PSA, SGC, CGC, and TAG cert numbers auto-fill graded listings (paid plans).
- Shipping: sellers handle shipping and are expected to ship promptly, share tracking, and tell buyers about any delay. U.S. sellers on every plan can buy integrated shipping labels. USPS only for now. Labels are paid from a shipping wallet, with no My Card Post markup. The My Card Post Envelope is a lower-cost option for lower-priced raw cards up to 3 oz.
